7th/8th Grade Teacher

2020-2021 School Year

NCCL School is seeking an innovative, dynamic, collaborative 7th/8th grade teacher who will be responsible for teaching math, science, and team teaching social studies starting in the fall of the 2020-2021 school year. This is a unique, exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who wants to work in a well-established institution that remains true to its progressive roots.

We are looking for someone with a math and science background who is energetic, patient, and flexible. Our ideal candidate has the knowledge and ability to develop and implement curriculum, as well as a desire to teach and learn in a progressive school and philosophy. Outside interests that will enrich our program are welcomed and encouraged.

Spanish Teacher, K-8

2020-2021 School Year

NCCL School is seeking an innovative, dynamic, collaborative part-time Spanish teacher who will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture in grades kindergarten through eight. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years experience teaching Spanish in a school setting. We are looking for someone who is experienced, energetic, patient, and flexible and who has the ability and desire to develop and implement curriculum, with outside interests that will add enrichment to the school program. This is a unique, exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who wants to work in a well-established institution that remains true to its progressive roots.

Founded in 1971, and located in Newark, DE, NCCL School (Newark Center for Creative Learning) is an independent, progressive elementary and middle school with an enrollment of 80 students, kindergarten through 8th grade.
