Tim Keeler '03

Tim Keeler, class of 2003, attended NCCL from kindergarten through 8th grade. He is now music director of the San Francisco-based, GRAMMY® award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer. Prior to moving to San Francisco, Tim forged a career as an active conductor, singer, and educator. He has directed the Men’s Chorus at the University of Maryland, served as director of choirs at the Special Music School High School in Manhattan, and was also the choral conductor for Juilliard's new Summer Performing Arts program - a two-week intensive summer course in Geneva, Switzerland. Tim holds a BA in Music from Princeton University with certificates in Vocal Performance and Computer Science, an MPhil in Music and Science from Cambridge University, an MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Michigan, and a DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Maryland. Of course all that music study started at NCCL. Janice Toomey, Ann Brown, and Gilbert and Sullivan were the best teachers anyone could ever ask for!!

 



Josh Bostick '10

Josh Bostick, class of 2010, attended NCCL for grades 1-8. After NCCL, he attended high school at Sanford where he participated in Punkin Chunkin in Bridgeville, DE from 2010-2013. He went to college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and graduated with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. Josh currently lives near New Haven, CT with his fiance Emily who is also an NCCL alumni. Since graduating college, Josh has been working at Sikorsky as a Structural Engineer for helicopter blades and rotors. One of his favorite NCCL memories is working with the City of Newark to plant trees for the Big Give.

Natalie Orga '13

Natalie Orga, class of 2013, attended NCCL from kindergarten through eighth grade. She then attended Appoquinimink High School for two years and transferred to Caravel Academy for her junior and senior years of high school. Afterward, she attended Gettysburg College and studied abroad in London and at Lancaster University in England. She graduated from Gettysburg Summa Cum Laude with an Honors B.A. in English, a concentration in Writing, and a minor in Studio Art. She is currently the Associate Editor of Delaware Today Magazine, where she writes about local news, history, arts and culture, businesses, and more. She also sells her artwork and takes commissions. Some of her favorite NCCL School memories include painting and sculpting in art class and workshop week, writing stories with her friends, wading in Trap Pond during camping trips, and exchanging plenty of hugs with her NCCL family. 

Jasmine Middaugh '16

Jasmine Middaugh, Class of 2016, attended NCCL for grades 5th-8th. Afterwards, she attended highschool at Padua Academy, and currently attends the University of Delaware on a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, she works as a Head Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor at the Hockessin Athletic Club. Her focus now is getting ready for the Army ROTC’s month long Advanced Camp in Fort Knox, Kentucky, which will take place over the summer. A favorite NCCL School memory of hers is rock climbing during Group 4’s annual camping trip during the Fall semester. 

Mei Tobin '18

Mei Tobin graduated from NCCL in 2018. She switched into NCCL from public school and attended NCCL from 4th grade to 8th grade. Mei graduated from Newark High School in 2022. She attended Johnson and Wales University for the fall semester of 2022 majoring in Exercise Science and was recruited to play college field hockey. She joined clubs such as a capella, the Pre-Health club, and shadowed at a Physical Therapy clinic. Mei transferred to the University of Delaware for the Spring 2023 semester and majors in Sports Health. She plans on joining clubs like a capella, environment club, volunteer, and club field hockey. Mei is passionate about music, sports, and animals. She wants to make a change in the world and be a positive impact on people. Mei plans on earning her B.S. at UD and would like to attend graduate school to earn her PhD in physical therapy. One of her favorite memories at NCCL School is doing drama club with Janice because it was a nice environment where everyone could join and make a fun show together.

Rachel Durbano '22

Rachel Durbano, Class of 2022, attended NCCL from 2nd grade through 8th grade. She is currently an honors student at Sanford School in Hockessin, DE. Rachel is an active member of several clubs at Sanford and was chosen as one of only 2 freshmen to serve on the school's Honor Council. She competed in Track & Field during the winter season and was on the stage crew for Sanford's annual play. Rachel is also a competitive rower at a club in Wilmington, DE. One of her favorite NCCL memories is the Big Give. Rachel loved being able to make a difference by helping kids around the world access books and education by partnering with Room to Read.
